Born in Versailles,France. Convoy 69 of March 7, 1944, carried away the BENHAMOU family: the parents, Rachel and Judas, originally from Oran and Sidi-Bel-Abbès, Algeria, and four of their children: Prosper, age 22; Elie, 16; Marie, 13; and Adolphe, 9. The last three were born in Versailles, where the family lived at 3 impasse Nungesser et Coli. Only Gilbert escaped arrest.


This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Adolphe Benhamou who was born in France on March 6, 1935 and deported to Auschwitz then sadly murdered upon arrival on March 9, 1944. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
